Hello and welcome: my name is Paula Gent; I am a holistic therapist and owner of Summerhouse Holistics in Horbury.  Since I opened the doors of the Summerhouse in 2013, I have worked tirelessly to create a little haven for reflection and self discovery; a safe place where you can experience nurturing treatments delivered in a professional and non-judgemental manner.   

 

I am passionate about the many benefits that complementary therapy can offer to help you lead a healthy and balanced life.  My aim is to help you restore harmony and regain balance on a physical, mental and emotional level, through signature treatments that are tailored to meet your individual needs.  Holistic treatments have a range of benefits including increased relaxation, release of tension, improved sleep, improved mood and increased well-being.  Whilst I work broadly on many areas, I have a particular interest in women's health including fertility, menopause, pregnancy and birth, endometriosis and PMS.

In all treatments you can expect luxurious products using organic and essential oils including handmade balms from Flying Wild and oils from Neal's Yard and Elemis, as well as the comfiest bed on the market!

Over the years I have gradually increased the number of treatments I offer, taking into account feedback from clients.  I like to get to know you so I can work intuitively through my treatments to nurture your body, mind and soul - recognising the interconnectedness of our feelings, emotions and physical health and well-being.

I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and like to regularly keep up to date with CPD and new techniques to offer you the latest in holistic therapy treatments.

In my spare time I love to practice yoga, meditation, walking and spending time outdoors with my family.
